I'm just wondering if anyone has ever had a Safari Tent holiday in the UK.

If so, what are the pro's and cons, would you do it again?

Hi, not stayed in a safari tent, but have stayed in a yurt this year, loved it so much have booked again to go back. Depending on what time of year you go, we had a wood burning stove in ours which was invaluable in May. Have you got anywhere particular in mind?

We are debating whether to go to Burnham on Sea. Never been there before and there looks like there are things to do round abouts.

I think the gamble with these holidays is the weather. We had a lovely sunny half term week (but still needed the log burner at night). We are due to go again this summer holidays and just crossing our fingers for fine weather, although there is plenty to do nearby where we are going, its just so much nicer if it is not raining!

Check the facilities on site and what exactly is provided. Where we go in Devon we have to take relatively little with us as things like can opener, cheese grater, crockery, cutlery, pans, washing up liquid/cloth, matches, firelighters, loo roll etc etc are provided.
