Day trip to London-advice

Me, DH and DD (8months) are getting the train to London for the day as DH has an hours meeting (in Holborn) and we thought it'd be a nice day out.

We'll be leaving at about 7am and home about 10pm. I know this is a long time and I really think I need to take our (fairly large) buggy so DD can nap. Do you think this will be a problem? The alternative is to take the baby bjorn or a stroller (but am not too keen on this as it's forward facing).

We'd like to go for lunch and maybe do something touristy when there so any suggestions are welcome that would mean minimum travel/ easy travel.

Thanks.

Coram's Fields is near Hoburn iirc and I'd think Covent Garden might be best for lunch.
