long weekend cycling by train - where to go?

Has anyone done this? we want to take the train from London and have 2 nights (3 days) away somewhere. Seaside might be fun but not essential. Children (2 and 4) in tow, so we won't be covering long distances!
We've been wondering about Suffolk and Norfolk, but could go pretty much anywhere.

oh great idea, will look into it! what do we do once we're there? and could we do a 'straight line' hol, ie get off train in one place and get back on somewhere else?
will go and research bike-friendliness of trains too (depressingly rare, and crucial...)
