Can't seem to find anything at a price we can afford, about £250 for 4 nights. Travelodge have availability at £65 but their family rooms only take 4max.
We were going to stay with friends but they can't put us up anymore and the train is booked and paid for, for next Saturday.
Only possibility I'm coming up with atm is for DP or I to stay in the hotel with the DCs and the other adult to doss on friends floor somewhere.
Anyone have a hotel they know?

I always try to find apartments/flats as work out cheaper. Google brought up this option in your price range

the only thing I can find as cheap as that, with availability, is a hostel - £12.50 pppn but in a dorm of 16 & towels are extra!!! Shock

If there is floor space somewhere that might be your best bet.

How old are the children?

Thefoxsbrush that site is good. I have enquired with a couple of them. Thanks.
Have called Travelodge but of course they are totaly corporate and non flexible. Independent hotels are more expensive generally.
Children are 4, 6 and 12.
