Isle of Wight best bits?

going mon to fri this wk so not loads of time so wanted to find out best beaches etc to visit. Staying nr cowes with 4yearold and 10 mnth old at Gunard Pines.
Any recommendations would be most appreciated.

Sandown beach is lovely. Great play area too. Get sea shoes though, the weaver fish are evil!

Beaches Sandown, Ryde and St Helens Duver. With Little kids great food at The Old Fort Cafe in Seaview. In Ryde seafront rides place does cheap wrist band before 11 am DD can make it value for money in just one hour.
