5* hotel in St Albans / Hoddesdon

We are going to a wedding in Hoddesdon a week on Saturday with the reception at Sopwell House. We need somewhere to stay (Sopwell House is full) Looking for a 5* nice hotel. Three of us inc 3yo dd. Any suggestions?

Used to live in St Albans st Michaels Manor is very nice could recommend this.

I am from Hoddesdon, no hotels there.

Sopwell House is lovely, I had my hen weekend there. I suggest you stay in the St Albans area, there is a Thistle hotel on the outskirts of St Albans. Its four star, dont think there are any 5 star hotels there.

There is a fab 5 star near Watford called The Grove which is fab but v v pricey!!

Luton Hoo is just north of harpenden. Very nice. But the Grove is by far the best Local hotel. About 15 minutes from sopwell. St Michaels is pretty and close by. the thistle hotel is a bog standard business place but it has a pool I think
