im exploring options for a holiday without a car

camping is a maybe, but i thought id look into coach holidays where the travel is included. Looks a little pricey with what i have found so far but wondered if there were any cheaper ones around

im looking to go isle of wight perhaps

What about going by train and then travelling around by bus and train when you get there. not sure who you are travelling with but family railcards are an absolute bargain for this sort of holiday. The channel islands are good for this but also you could base yourself in a town and then travel out from there. Only problem with coach holidays is the feeling of being over organised. you have to eat at a certain time and in a certain place when sometimes you don't feel like that. it does take a bit of organising to go it alone but then it lets you travel around more at your own pace. Post what you decide - i would be interested.
