Brighton Family Friendly Accommodation

Off to Brighton for a couple of nights with my 2 dd's 7 & 3, hotel or b&b is fine, must be family friendly and clean. Any recommendations gratefully received, many thanks.

Heard good things about Hotel Du Vin (v. kind to a friend whose kid vomited everywhere) and Drake's Hotel but on the pricey side unless you get a midweek deal.
Cheaper and more floral curtain but reportedly clean and friendly - New steine hotel and Gullivers (same owners) on New Steine just off the front

Also self catering - check out villa renters and Best of Brighton (agency)
