Hi I was hoping to pick your brains.
DS 3.9 (High functioning autism) and myself will have Sat in London. We're visiting Legoland Sun so staying in a travelodge in Slough.

Any tips please? Where nice to eat? what to do , cheap all day train tickets please? Wanted to go to Rainforest Cafe but don't think I can afford it

Many thanks in advance

Lots of free things to do! DS is almost 4 and his favourites are the natural history museum and science museum (both near each other at s ken tube). If your boy likes dinosaurs, the nat hist museum is best!

Rainforest cafe is an overpriced tourist trap serving shite food!

We usually pop into Paul on Thurloe Street (fab french cafe with delicious sandwiches and cakes) near s. ken tube. There are 4 cafes/restaurants at the nat hist nuseum (not the one you see as soon as you go in, that is £££££) and they are all nice.

The slough train goes into paddington, just change there straight onto the circle line to s ken, should be about 10 mins by tube.

Agree with Mr C - go free! Museums are great in London. We do one a day as there's so much to see. Natural History has the dinosaurs. As for food found rainforest cafe a bit pricey. We tend to do things like pizza pieces and sit in the parks. Why not just go for burgers and live dangerously - its only a couple of days of junk food! Look on google for free tickets as there are loads of websites offering downloads for this sort of thing.
