We are booking tonight to go to the isle of wight, just looking and gurnard pines looks lovely but not sure if its the best location (Cowes?)

Or there is one in Whitecliff bay. Any ideas appreciated though, has any one been and loved somewhere? I think we'd like a lodge or chalet type thing rather than caravan and the idea of a park appeals due to having access to actitivities and swim pool etc. It will be me, DP and DD who is 4 and has SN. TIA.

Hi, I live here. I would say Gurnard Pines is a good location. It always seems nice there and the chalets are clean and modern looking (not seedy!)
Youd be able to get easily to lots of places. I would certainly say thats the best option.

Whitecliff bay is a bit out of the way and right on one end of the island. Last time I heard it was in need of a facelift there, too, but not sure if that has been done.
Thorness Bay is another one which is in a good (nearly) central location - well, not really, but its not too far and more central than some!

Not taken dd abroad yet so needs to be UK, not even got passports. Any ideas appreciated want to book this morning.
