Sea View Holiday park Nr Polperro vs Sea Acres, Helston

I've finally got around to choosing a holiday for this year. There are 5 of us;2 adults, 3 children 9,6,1. I want somewhere with sea nd a pool where we can be a family for a change.
Holiday parks wouldn't be my 1st choice usually but funds are a little tight ( just moved house) and I want the children to have people to play with.
I've looked at these with Hoseasons and Parkdean.
They both look ok but reviews seem a bit mixed. I trust you lot so...
Has anyone been and has an opinion as to which I should choose?

We haven't stayed at either, but did visit Sea Acres last year when staying on the Lizard. The site looked lovely - really nice position and some caravans had lovely sea views. It was much better than the Parkdean Mullion site where we were staying.

Thank you. That helps a little. Was Mullion not great the? and would you not recommend Parkdean?

Hi not sure what you think about travelling time. we usually stay near Looe about half an hour from Plymouth. Polperro is the next one along. if you go down to the Lizard its an extra hour and half on your journey roughly but not sure if you are bothered about this. we have stayed at Wringworthy holiday cottages in the past with our 3 children. they have a pool, animals and i think 7 or 8 cottages so not huge and holiday camp like. I would always say when in doubt check out how many stars it has as this gives you a good idea of what to expect when you get there. Cheap is one thing but shabby and not clean is something else! Worth having a look at distances from where you live and what is nearby for you to do. I know the East coast around Looe is a lot less busy than other parts of cornwall which can get mobbed. Hope you enjoy your hols.

Hi again dizzy. The Lizard peninsula is fab and we had a good time. However, the Parkdean Mullion site was very big and a bit tired looking, esp the pool area. We were on a cheap Sun holiday break so can't complain for the price but would not go to that site again by choice. Also, no views - pretty bleak site. Sea Acres has lovely views, is much smaller and nicely presented.

I think we've plumped for Sea Acres. We couldn't find any guaranteed no smoking vans at the other and Sae Acres does look lovely ( even with the extra drive)
Thanks
