I need to stay over 2 nights in the Hitchin area. I had hoped I would find Ye Olde Village Inn for about tuppence but no luck!! But any chance of something like that under £70 a night would be good! It doesn't need to be Hitchin just somewhere within an hour via public transport. Can anyone recommend a pleasant enough cheapy place to stay?
