Thats about an hour or 1.5 drive from London, with something to do nearby for a 3 yr old and 5 yr old. Will be on my own with the kids, few days over easter holiday and could poss afford up to £80 per night total.

We often stay in a Travelodge with the kids when we head out for a few days. There is normally a pub type restaurant onsite for brekkie etc and as we spend most of the day out it is only really a place for bath, bed and brekkie. A family room has a double bed and 2 singles and we paid £60 a night B&B last month.

As for destination unfortunately I have no idea as we are on the opposite side of the country.

I have family in Sailsbury and we stay in the Premier Inn there when we go to visit. Salisbury is a pretty town to wander around and the New Forest is a short drive away, with Bournemouth (and its beach!) a little further so lovely places to explore.
