Age limits on kids activities at Center Parcs

Hi

We're off to Center Parcs at Easter and looking at booking a few activities. We have children aged 6, 5, 2 and nearly 1. The activities for the older 2 aren't too much of a problem but there's not too much choice for the 2 year old (he'll be nearly 3 by then).
I wanted to do the easter egg decorating or something similar with one of us helping him but CP said he's not allowed. Surely that's not dangerous?
How rigidly have you all stuck to the age ranges in the past? Have you got away with putting children in activities slightly older or younger than they are?
I'm not saying I want him to do anything excessive but he'd like to do something arty and easter related which I thought would be fine for a nearly 3 year old.

Thanks
Louise

I rang them and asked when we took DS for the first time aged just less than 1 and was told that it would be up to the staff on site to decide if he could join in with the 12 month + activities so while I couldn't book anything in advance, I could possibly book activities while we were there.

When we got there, the staff were really helpful and said that as long as I was helping DS, he could pretty much do whatever I wanted him to. There were no insurance issues with him joining in.

We did go out of term time though so things were pretty much empty a lot of the time.

Which CP are you going to?

Hi

That sounds good, hopefully they'll let him do a few things with our help.

We're going to Sherwood - haven't been there before as we normally go to Elveden. We are going in Easter though so might be a bit busy not to book before we go.

Thanks
Louise
