Looking for a pub for a multi-generational lunch weekend lunch near junctions 9/10 M25

We are all coming from different directions so an easy drive from the M25 (15 mins ideally). Eldest person in the party is 78, youngest is 3. So somewhere which is fairly relaxed, with reasonable food and (ideally) a garden for playing in.

Any ideas?

I reckon you'll get a better response posting this in the local site for that are - I don't know where junction 9 is though. :)

What about The Star in Malden Rushett - on the way to Chessington World of Adventures. Really relaxed atmosphere, can book large table to seat you all, kids menu, garden. Dogs are welcome too.

Thanks Dotty - I will check that out. Sounds good.

Junction 9 is Leatherhead, Junction 10 is Cobham.

I would second the Star, 10 mins from the motorway if that, and family friendly (website here Also the Cricketers in Cobham here

Well my family all think the Star looks perfect so that's where we're going. Thanks so much for the recommendation :)

Now if anyone can come up with suggestions of what they could buy my DS for his birthday ... :o

Thank you so much for recommending the Star. Food was pretty good and they made my mum and my DS a huge complimentary strawberry and cream birthday cake :o
