London mumsnetters, what do you recommend?

TBH I wouldn't look for anything around there, it's a bit grim.

I would just hop on the tube and head to Goodge St station to go to Charlotte St. Loads of really good restaurants and nice pubs/bars.

Look at Top Table website for food offers or Fluid Foundation for drinks places.

We had a very nice meal at St Pancras, which is not very far away.

You might like to try the British Library (next to St Pancras station): there's a cafe inside and various on the concourse.

And if you had the time/inclination you could go and see the Magna Carta whilst you're there.

The Brunswick Centre has some nice shops and places to eat and is not too far away - depends how close to Euston you want to be.
