Looking to book for the end of May. Where have you stayed and would you recommend it?

The holiday needs to cater for my four children age ranging from nearly 2 to 14. So activities/entertainment lots of!

I've been to 2 parkdean sites, Ruda in Devon and St Minver in Cornwall.

If you're looking for activities / entertainment I would definitely recommend Ruda. It's right next to a lovely big sandy beach (literally a few minutes walk away) and you can hire surfing gear on site.

There's a pool with slides, wave machine etc, although you do have to pay a few quid to get in. They have kids clubs for all ages, and evening entertainment aimed at children which isn't really my cup of tea but my 3 year old loved it. The staff are lovely and helpful and great with the children.

Also plenty of places to eat, a soft play area and playground.

Not sure what the caravans are like as we camped, but the camping facilities are fine.
