Really like the Lookout in Bracknell. Also Palmer Park is fine. Going for weekend to Reading and wanting to try somewhere else.

Any other good play parks/ areas I should try with a 5 and 7 year old.

www.wellington-country-park.co.uk/ good, but south of reading.

Never really found anywhere decent in reading itself I'm afraid!

Wellington looks good but only reopens on the 19th Feb so will save for next time. Thanks!

Second Dinton Pastures. There is a playground in Kings Meadow, Caversham, with lots of river frontage, room for ball games and (quite aggresive) ducks to feed.

I've been told Bucklebury Farm Park is good.
