Welcome to our UK travel forum where you can get advice on everything from holidays to exotic destinations, to tips on London travel.

Can anyone recommend a good place to stay in Isle of White pls. We would prefer close to beach/outdoor space as don't want to be worrying we will lose one of them.

We have twins age 3 and another age 4 so need a bit of entertainment in case of bad weather.

Any recommendations? Thx

Oops, I meant Isle of Wight

The Belmont in Shanklin is nice. It's up on the cliff and there is a lift down to the beach a couple of minutes walk away. Don't know if you know the IOW well but Shanklin and neighbouring Sandown are my favourite bits. Plenty for kids to do; crazy golf etc and Sandown has a small but brilliant zoo with lots of big cats.
