we are a family of five looking to spend 3 or 4 nights in yorkshire, either on the coast or inland, with a view to visiting York - obviously - and beaches if poss. Have done lots of Haven holidays but not open til March, Centerparcs just too bloody expensive, has to be between 19th-25th Feb for lots of reasons. A cottage would be nice, a pool lovely, but not a hotel as youngest DC is manic and we would get evicted. Can anyone help?

Holiday leggings and holiday rentals are pretty good sites for cottages.

I'm trying to book a cottage in Staithes or Robin hoods bay for midweek halfterm but it's difficult. Am waiting for a lady to ring back about one at robin hoods bay.

There is room at the YHA if you can stay at those? Whitby have room as do Boggle hole.

Yay! it's ours. You'd think it was to buy a bloody cottage Grin What a carry on I've had!

Good luck OP.
