Hi, we would like to go away for a few nights during half term in the UK with our 4.5 year old. We are really stuck for ideas and dont really fancy Butlins. It ideally would be somewhere that caters for families with things to do for my daughter.Has anyone got any ideas please we are in London and would be happy to do a 2.5 to 3 hour drive.
Thankyou :)

Bournemouth has lots of lovely places near it to go to as well as things to do in the town such as Sea life.

Paultons Park is fun if its not too wet

Sea is amazing in winter weather, you can watch it from indoors!

Travelodge is well situated and has some parking

There is a car museum (Buleigh? sorry wrong spelling)

We used to do centre parcs at half term but its more expensive this year

We're going to centre parcs. Never been before, but it looks like there should be loads to do.

Hi,
Have a look at Sandy Balls in the New Forest. Wooden lodges of various sizes.
It has a strange name I agree but it's got a pool, indoor play, smallshop. Near Bournemouth, Paultons and Moore Valley Country Park.
We've stayed there with our kids (under 10s at the time) and would go back like a shot!

Have you thought about one of the farm holiday places down in Cornwall - they specialise in doing things like animal feeding with the kids, tractor rides etc. I took my 2 kids without my husband as he had to work for a few days in the Oct half term and it was brill. PM me if you would like a few more specific ideas.
