I have been looking for somewhere relatively cheap to go, given that I would feel guilty spending too much at the outset of my mat leave. DH is off work Thurs to Sun at the start of Feb so looking for 3 nights somewhere. Don't mind if hotel or self catering but needs to amuse a toddler, eg stay on a farm, swimming pool, soft play facilities etc. Within 2-3 hours of Cheshire so Cornwall/ Devon/ Scotland is out. Anyone got any ideas??
