Meeting/eating place N Bristol/S Gloucester

Hiya, we are planning on meeting 2 other couples and their children 2 4yr olds, 1 newborn + our 13 month old. We are driving up from the SW and they are coming down from the W Mids. Any good ideas for places to meet/eat/play? TIA.

What about Cribbs Causeway? Convenient to the motorways and theres a cinema/bowling complex and a couple of places to eat (TGIs/Frankie and Benny/Bella Pasta type places) and a wander around the shops to go for a coffee after?

There is Jump Indoor Play Centre at Cribbs too. I have been to the Cardiff one and it was quite good if a little expensive. They have a website.
