Just starting to look for a week away in the summer. 2 DC, will be aged 6 and 3. Would ideally like a base to explore different beaches, saundersfoot etc, and folly farm etc. Any tips for nice family friendly accommodation? Thanks

Celtic Haven is lovely, in Lydstep near Tenby.

Clydey Cottages are fantastic. We stayed there a couple of months ago

We stayed at www.scolton.com.

Loved it. Lovely indoor pool with sauna/steam room. Pool area very clean.

Very safe for children and owners friendly. Most people go back year after year which is always a good sign!!

Just mentioned on another thread about Bluestone but that may not be quite what you are looking for.

Lydstep is a lovely village and a good base for exploring the coastline. Nice pub close by which is family friendly.

If you need any advice on Pembrokeshire I grew up there so know the area well.

st brides bay agecny - if all their places are as nice as the one we had in north pembrokeshire at st davids.

unfortunately can't say the same for the much larger company that supplied the one in south pembrokeshire that hadn't been cleaned properly for some time and had the most decrepid washing line i've ever seen

National Trust - nice cottages, though no swimming pools etc.

Bluestone is lovelly, you can go self catering and is right next door to Oakwwood theme park. It has its own Waterpoark and adventure centre and has loads and loads for the kids to do.

Its about a 10 minute drive to Tenby and Folly Farm and is truely amazing - im converted!

I went twice last year with the kids, its defiantely worth chekcing out
