anyone had early check-in at CP??

anyone know if I can pay for early check in at CP?? DH might need to lay down at some point.

You can pay for ealy check in as part of the 'flying start package' - but it's only an hour ealy, so you'd get to lie down at 2pm rather than 3pm.

I'm not the expert though, you can contact them through the website and ask.

You can arrive from 10, I think, but the earliest you can get into your lodge is 2pm.

its getting into the lodge, as DH sometimes get tired on chemo and we have our dog with us so if we arrive early we will have to wander about for hours :(

we did - you get 2 free adult bikes and a bag of food so not bad value

At Sherwood they open the gates at 2.45pm but this year due to weather they oepned them at 2pm.

I would ring, explain situation and see what they can do to accomadate you.

We pay a bit extra for a 2pm check in which includes free bikes food package etc. and find the queue to get in much shorter. it might be worthwhile ringing ahead and explaining your circumstances. Last year due to heavy snow we had problems leaving on time and as I had been unwell during our stay we spoke to the medical centre and they made arrangements for us to stay in the lodge after normal check out time, I'm sure they would allow early check in if you explained why.

Hi Lisa, as you know we are in the same situ as you. We went to CP in Oct and took the early package, brilliant value, gt our bikes by 1.30pm, masses of groceries and in our villa by 1.45pm. They knew our circumstances and said they would try and get the villa cleaned early, they were very understanding. Hope you get to go. A happy Christmas to you all. xx
