I'm thinking about next year and about Forest Holidays, you know, the ones with those cabins in various forests around the country.

Anyone been to any? Any good?

Any info much appreciated

Hello

Yes I've been to two of them one in Yorkshire and one in Devon/Cornwall (Deerpark)

Both beautiful and very quiet, only really had a play ground for my three to play on but with bikes they were happy.

We did a tesco online order to be delivered the saturday evening and then that stocked the fridge for the week.

Had a really lovely time and great quality not close together at all.

Both times we stayed in one with a hot tub which was brilliant.

The rangers do tours of the forest like bat watch, badget watch etc and my two older ones really enjoyed this.

Hope this helps!

My daughter hired a large one in Keldy/Dalby Forest for her and several friends for her 18th (they are well behaved outdoorsy types) and they had wonderful time playing house and cooking meals for each other.

The Go Ape in Dalby is a brilliant one - much more exciting the others she has been to (she says!).

We stayed in the one in Keld a few years ago and very much enjoyed it. Nice cabins and a very good location.
