Narrowboat holiday with kids????

DH wants to get a narrowboat in the UK this year. DC will be 6(lively) and 9. We also have a dog.
I think he's mad.

Can anyone convince me that it'll be a good holiday?

I think you will need to find that gin! Seriously though I think it will be fun, just make sure they have life jackets on them all the time! we took our 4 year old on the broads whilst I was 6mths pregnant with no2 and we had a great time, lots of friends made at the pubs en route too Smile

If it rains, you find a nice pub! even with the kids, they'll find someone/thing to entertain themselves Smile
