I seem to have said to MIL that I will try and find a cottage over the new year and am hoping someone may be able to help Smile. Here are the parameters

For 10 people (3 pairs of adults, one 19 year old, a 5 year old, a 7 year old and a 2.5 year old)
Either 5 or 6 bedrooms
Table to seat 10
Preferably an open fire
Either in Derbyshire or somewhere easily gettable to from York, Oxford and Watford
For three nights from either 29th, 30th or 31st December
Up to £1,300

Thank you :)

Centre Parcs Nottingham? Not exactly a cottage, but a lot there for all ages.

Thank you :)

Hadn't thought of Centre Parks but will have a look

Thank you - have been having more of a look.

Centerparcs is v v expensive - always knew it was but didn't realise quite how much Shock.

Not sure about the hoseasons lodges - agree that price and facilities good but pretty sure it's not quite what MIL is thinking of.

I like the Norfolk ones but distance for all of us to travel is quite a way.

Am not being very grateful here :)

Feel slightly that MIL may have thought about this idea with not enough time to actually find somewhere available.
