Good restaurant in Lossiemouth/Elgin area?

I need a good restaurant for a special lunch. I would ask my mother but she likes a nice carvery lunch, and that's not what I'm after. Does anyone know anywhere with great food? I've been to Boath House but it's a bit far away for our needs.

Bumping just in case it's not a long shot.

I'll bump one more time and then I'll accept that it's the ends of the earth and nobody cares Grin

If its not too late I would recommend the following.

They may be a bit far from you but I would recommend The Cluny Bank in Forres. However, I think they only do dinner rather than lunch.

My other recommendation is The Archiestown Hotel, about 20 minutes from Elgin. Neither are cheap but are where I would go for a special lunch, not at all a carvery.

You can google both of them for their websites as I don't know how to do clever linkies Shock.
