London apartment - nice, not too pricey, kid-friendly

Does such a thing exist??

We're looking to stay two nights, we have a 3yo and a 3mo so would need at least one bedroom and a living room, as well as a kitchen area.

Central-ish, nice - we're going for my birthday so would like something a bit special, but not too pricey.

Not asking much, am I?

Hi We stay in the John Radcliff hotel which is just behind the albert hall and in walking distance to the museums etc, Considering the location it is very quiet and they have a number of 2 and 3 bed appartments - ideal when we wanted to give the children a snack early evening rather than trawl out for something to eat. They have always been really family friendly. Not the cheapest but we have stayed there a few times.
