Family of 5, 3 boys 13, 9 & 5. Hvae day pass for the swimmimg dome - so we'll spend at least the morning there. What else would you recommend - keep hearing it all costs so much. We are staying in a B&B nearby so hopefully big brekkie - should we eat there later in day or are there better places nearby - a good gastro pub?

Swimming does not open till 10am. There are some very nice spots for picnics in the woods. Some things are cheaper if you book them on the day (I got a gladiator challenge for £15 instead of £22 as I booked it two hours before). Would recommend you arrive about 11am - then you can swim through lunch and get out at 3pm and go off to find food.

Icecreams etc are sold in the middle of the swimming pool. The sandwiches are horrid though. Cafe rouge in the middle is all right though.

Thanks. So you need to take cash in with you to the pool?

Yes. However the lockers are very close and it's fairly safe to leave a baby change bag or similar beside the pool. Lots of people take towels out to the pool if they have little ones anyway.
