we have a large converted framhouse in south west france and are thinking of letting it during the summer next year, the standard offering is selfcatering but do you think a catered offering would work
i.e all breakfasts ready when you get up, 2/3 evening meals and a high tea for kids, thus the staff could then offer badysitting etc, rather like a ski chalet but in the sun
would it work? and would people pay the extra ?

any thoughts welcome

Rachael.

Hi Liz...I am thinking of doing the same thing with a ski chalet I have just bought to rennovate in the French Alps - the idea is to provide an al a carte menu of options that people could pre book - I think that this would increase your market - I plan to do a deal with the catered chalet next door - to keep the implemenation simple!!...will let you know how I get on
