Can anyone recommend somewhere in Cornwall to stay for a week next summer?

Hi, I was hoping someone could suggest somewhere me and DP could go for a week in Cornwall next year, that isn't too expensive, though obviously being summer holiday, I know it will be peak rates. We're looking to go near Newquay, so if anyone could suggest somewhere, I'd be grateful! :)

we went to newquay about six years ago and stayed at a Park Dean caravan/campsite. it was located just on the outskirts and we got a bus from the entrance right into the town centre and it was reasonably priced. we didnt take the car so had to rely on public transport but it wasnt a problem at all. There was just the two of us and we visited Eden Project, Newquay Zoo and a Lego Land place. the accomodation was ok. its a bit like a butlins/haven but not as in your face with children's entertainment. if you google park dean you will find their website.

We have been to several of the Parkdean sites in Cornwall and had a great time. They are usually quite small so the entertainment isn't in your face iykwim.I think there are 2 sites in Newquay,we stayed at the one near the beach.Which was a haven for rabbits and ducks. There is also a site in Crantock.

We stay here : www.atlanticreach.co.uk/cornwall-self-catering-holiday-accommodation/cornwall_resort_accommodation.html every year at easter (might be pricey but inlaws pay)

Nice clean accomodation, bar resturant, pool, play area, kids clubs. Very close to Newquay and all the fun. (but not so close that you get hen and stag)

Just remembered the place we stayed at was Holywell Bay.

we stayed at the one near the airport

Thanks guys. We've been to the Crantock beach a couple of times with DD, but wanted to try something different as it'll just be the two of us.

We have stayed here before. Just outside Padstow, overlooking probably the best beach in Cornwall and a short drive to Newquay. Highly recommended.
