Priscilla!

Absolutely bloody brilliant! Grin

fishingfilly · 30/08/2010 22:23

I quite fancy this but not sure if Hub would...just watching beeb one with Jason Donavan who gave a quick low down on the storyline - 3 gay guys head off into the dessert to find themselves....is that is????

Warhorse. Honestly, it's absolutely brilliant.

Wicked is fantastic, it really is a must see I have been to see lots of West End and touring shows in my time (saving all my pocket money and booking a coach to London when I was 16 to see Miss Saigon) and Wicked is probably the best so far.

Saw Priscilla and I never laughed so much in my life. Dh thought it brilliant too and the guy playing Adam/Felicia is soooo good ()and a friend of a friend). They don;t go off to find themselves rather one of them used to be married and has a son (who is sooo cute) and he goes to visit him but doesn;t tell the others why.

I enjoyed We Will rock You no plot but great songs. Lion King of course is spectacular but you have seen that.

I quite fancy Legally Blonde too - just got the London Cast album (personally signed by sheridan, Jill and the guy much to dh's delight) Oh My God!!! It soundss fun.

Yes yes yes... Warhorse!

dd aged 11 saw wicked with her uncle and said very good. We've seen Oliver whihc is fab but not sure when it finishes

elphabaisgreen · 02/09/2010 14:03

Oliver finshes in January. Kerry Ellis is Nancy at the moemnt and she is wonderful (can't quite picture her as Nancy thought)

deaddei · 02/09/2010 14:04

Wicked and Legally Blonde.
Oh My God indeed!!!!

elphabaisgreen · 02/09/2010 14:06

Have you seen Legally Blonde deaddei?

deaddei · 02/09/2010 14:07

Yes- it's wonderful.
I've never seen the film, but took dd last month.
Sheridan Smith was fantastic- and one of dd's singing teacher's best friends is in it (he plays Carlos in the Gay and European courtroom scene)
It is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
I am a Wicked fan like you....

elphabaisgreen · 02/09/2010 14:10

Sheridan has just extended her run. Think I am definately going to try and go and see it.

deaddei · 02/09/2010 14:12

She is amazing- great voice and excellent timing.
Aoife from the Lloyd Webber thing was in it too- again, excellent.
Jill Halfpenny is a revelation as is Kyle.
You will LOVE Kyle.

elphabaisgreen · 02/09/2010 14:17

Jill is leaving (she was so nice at the signing, chatted to dd for ages) and Denise V-O is taking over.

By the way what is the snaps reference all over the facebook group? I guess Elle says it a lot?

fishingfilly · 02/09/2010 15:33

right its going to be Priscilla - legally blonde sounds a bit too chicky for my hub!
