Any recommendations for one overnight stay on Isle of Wight?

That's it really. We'd like to go to the IOW for an overnight stay (two adults, two children aged 2 and 5). Can anyone recommend anywhere to stay? Don't mind if it's a hotel or self-catering (caravan is fine).

Thanks Smile

i've stayed here and was very nice. The room we had was big enough for a 4 and had seaviews. also a stones throw from a lovely beach. not sure what the website offers, but they always offer dinner, b&b with ferry travel in the back of the sunday papers.

we stayed here www.royalhoteliow.co.uk/index.asp

its an absolutely amazing hotel, and despite how it comes across on their website, very child friendly. I was a bit wary when we first arrived. it all seemed a bit fine dining and antique furniture but all of the staff were brilliant with our son (20mths at the time).
