S devon beaches exmouth, bud salt. sidmouth?

Hi some recommendations please.

good for little children ie sand gently sloping little waves.

exmouth beach not much good for little ones but could try nearby sandy bay. Alittle further Dawlish has a lovely beach.
Its been a long time since I ve been to bud salterton, but I think its very pebbley !!

Exmouth best for sand but have to be careful to swim between flags (v small area) as it's v tidal and dangerous

all the rest are pebbles
