Dog friendly days out in Somerset/Devon?

We are staying in Bicknoller, West Somerset next week and will be having our first holiday with dog in tow .

Any recommendations of dog-friendly activities in this area?

I know you can take your dog around Forde Abbey GardensHere and Hestercombe Gardens Here

Dunster castle I think allows dogs but only in the park area.
Glastonbury Abbey also allows dogs on leads.

Dogs can go on Beer 'beach' ,it's very pebbly but nice.Lyme Regis Monmouth beach & Eype in Dorset are favourite dog friendly beaches of ours too.

Cheddar Gorge allows well behaved dogs in
