...so not looking forward to the drive! DD (5 going on 12) has been really winding DS (9 going on 4) up the last few days and he falls for it every time, he just can't ignore her. 5 hours in the car with the pair of them and I might be ready to scream.

But, it'll be worth it huh? Do I need to pack woolly jumpers though?

I have lots of sympathy for you. I drove my DCs down to Devon by myself 3 years ago. As we drove through some dire flooding, I threatened them with dumping them in the surrounding water and leaving them! Cue immense solidarity between DCs against vile mother. Not ideal but at least they were nice to each other :o

And yes, pack some woolies

I've even just put the wellies in the pile! Hideous weather. DH is laughing his socks off as he always says NO to holidays in this country for this very reason (he's not coming with us due to work). What the heck. A week of no cooking for me. Yippee! That alone makes it worth the drive.
