London apartments; or places to stay with a toddler

WE are going to London for a couple of nights at the beginning of september and are looking for somewhere to stay with our 18 month old DS. Everytime we stay in London we have been disappointed so we are trying to find somewhere reasonable and half decent (a difficult task I think).
We are looking at apartments as it is easier with preparing food for DS etc, and if we have more than one room he can sleep whilst we stay up in the evening.

Anyone got any ideas for

We stayed here recently - it's a really nice apartment, but only one room, so maybe it's no good to you. There's a great cafe downstairs and they give you breakfast!

Oooh, it does look nice; are you around avenging angel, how big are the rooms? Is there any scope for hiding DS cot in the bathroom (which we have done before in desperation?)

Sorry can't help with the apartment but wanted to pick your brains about the Evra patch and combined pill (remembered that you are a GP)

Have you tried YHA they have some in London with family rooms at affordable prices.
