Hotel in Southport

I am looking for a luxury hotel in Southport. Has anyone stayed anywhere they could suggest?

Stayed at the Scarisbrick a few years ago when ds about 4.Very enjoyable stay."old fashioned" in a good way- plus pool.Staff very pleasant and we'd go again.

The Vincent - boutique style hotel is lovely if you can get booked in.

There is also the Ramada that is on the Marine Lake which is less than a year old.

The Clifton is the biggest and is old style - on the prom so lovely views of Kings Gardens and the lake.
