Somewhere to stay to break journy to Cornwall from London??

Hi, can anyone recommend somewhere that is toddler friendly and reasonably priced near M5, Taunton/Yeovil area. Desperately need to break up our journey down to St.Ives from London.
All suggestions welcome

To be honest I'd leave at 6:30am and do the whole drive in one day stopping a couple of times at services. The extended A30 in cornwall is quite fast so the driving time is probably about 5-6 hrs from London plus stops.

If you need to stop overnight I think there is a premier inn at the taunton services and premier inn tend to be better than travel lodge.

We are in the South east and generally use m4/m5 rather than A303 as the A303 is sooo slow sometimes.
