We are regular visitors to the Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall which we love. However can anyone recommend other high quality yet informal feeling hotels where you can go for good food with baby listening? Thanks in anticipation....

Friends have stayed at Fowey Hall in Cornwall and Ickworth Manor in Suffolk and said both were very nice.

Also Babbington House in Somerset. We have stayed there without ds but wouldn't hesitate to take him there.

this place is lovely and children very welcome.

They have a few other hotels in the group, two of which sailorsgal mentioned.

We went to Moonfleet Manor in Dorset, part of the same group as Fowey hall, etc was a bit tired and very expensive in comparison to Bedruthan. we asked for a fridge for DS's milk and they were a bit put out.Kinda put me off those Luxury family hotels.
would like to try Watergate. taking mil this year so staying in the villas behind Watergate hotel, special offer

Hotel Tresanton in St Mawes is exceptional. Great facilities for children, baby sitting and listening, sweet garden, beach opposite, fab good, stunning service.

Food good that should have read

This place is nice; lovely rooms and food, and they were happy to bring a meal up to our room at no extra charge when we had a very young and fussy baby who couldn't be left with the baby listening (which I think they also do).

By the way, we have also stayed at Ickworth. There were a few problems with our stay and it was very expensive for the quality of the rooms (however we couldn't make use of the free child care as DS was ill, so our stay might have been a bit marred by that).

We have stayed at Fowey Hall and Moonfleet Manor - both were disappointing in different ways. Our all time favourite is Calcot Manor - simply the best!

Second Crieff Hydro - it's lovely
