Recommendation for history AQA history A level tutor.

Any recommendations for an online tutor please. My DD is year 12 and could do with a little extra support.

I'm a retired AQA A level History teacher, and you'll need to specify the options she is taking, OP.

There will be one breadth study 1A-L and there will be a depth study 2A - T, so there are a choice of 30 separate topics. I only retired this year and I wouldn't recommend that you go for a tutor that hasn't recently taught the unit.

For eg, I taught 1C - which is the Tudors at A level. 1L, is Germany 1871 - 1991 which is Bismarck up to beyond the collapse of the Soviet Union, so massively different units and require a different depth of knowledge. This is particularly key on the 2nd unit which is a depth study so you need someone that is currently teaching that specific unit at Unit 2 really or they will not have the in depth knowledge to help your DD.
