hi,

so our 6yr old will be going to private 1-1 lessons just once a week, she said its done at her house, but now im feeling uncomfortable as hes only 6 and i don't really know her, she's a teacher at his school for a different grade, i would feel more comfortable if it was at my house, or shall i ask to join him for the 40 mins maybe wait outside the room idk ?

I very kindly don't need feedback on if he should have private lessons, that's something which me and his father has decided :)

I think you are barmy. You don't sit in at school, do you?

He’s not in a room alone with a teacher at school !

Thanks for your msg.

in the email I said he’s a little anxious about these lessons and would I be able to attend the first couple of sessions until he’s settled, also informed I would not interfere and would not be in the room I woold sit outside the room.

yes he has anxiety, when he’s worried/anxious he chews on everything until it’s destroyed.

Ok I guess so, so you think it’s fine and I shouldn’t worry, I just asked for feedback from people to see what they suggest tbh I’m 50/50 but today I found out she’s one of my closest best friends cousins and she shared a lot of lovely feedback about her with me.
