Alternative to private tutoring for History

Hi everyone, I'm a new mum to twin boys and I'm considering setting up my own business and leaving teaching after 14 years in the career.

I would like to offer pre-recorded digital courses based around popular GCSE and A Level topics for History. I'd be looking to do them in a 'boot camp' or 'crash course' style and have them prepared for Spring, ahead of the exams. They'd focus on two key goals of boosting confidence in essay writing and in improving knowledge retention, as these are the two main hurdles to success in History.

I'm simply doing preliminary market research at this stage, so would be interested to know who would be interested in something like this. I was thinking of offering each course (based on a GCSE or A Level unit) of between 6-8 'lessons' for £50. Is this something that would appeal to you as a parent? What would it need to include, for you, to be considered value for money?

Sounds great. But there is a huge amount available for free, so how could you set yourself apart? Live lesson and Q and A? Provide feedback on an essay. Not sure, but I think it needs to be more than pre-records.

I would need the opportunity for my dc to ask questions and get feedback on their work in some form. So personalised feedback. There is such rich content online for free that I wouldn't pay for recordings alone.
