Hello, I'm looking for an 11+ tutor for my son who is going in to Year 5. Ideally someone who accepts Childcare Vouchers as we have a balance of these we can't spend. We are based in Belsize Park NW3. Someone who can start in September would be great.

I'm an independent private 11 plus tutor. Most of us working independently are not ofsted register so can't take childcare vouchers.

If you want to use the vouchers, your best bet is a tuition centre like Explore Learning or Kip McGrath. Obviously the offer a very different type of service to what a private independent tutor offers.

This is not legal

What isn't legal?

A tutor would have to be registered with OFSTED and quite frankly that will be more effort than what it is worth

It is perfectly legal.

I think you can get your money back from the voucher company, but you'll be liable to pay the tax on it.

This is spot on.
