Looking for a tutor for year 3 child in west London

I am looking for a tutor for my son. He is in year 3 and needs some help with maths. We are near Uxbridge / iver area.
Ideally face to face and i can travel if required.
Really looking for someone who is a school teacher and is very experienced.

Try looking online and on Facebook too. So many tutors now use tutor directory sites in order to find clients of all ages and abilities, I found a private French tutor that way.

It depends on why you want the tuition. We used West London Tutoring (www.westlondontutoring.co.uk) They run a mix of face to face if you can get to Ealing or online zoom lessons in groups of 4. Very good but also very focused on tutoring for 11+ entrance to private schools.

There are children from as far as Scotland who join the online sessions!

Have tried facebook, i find that people respond but when you start to ask some questions (about timing, cost etc) they read the messages but stop responding. Will try again.

I really rather not send him to a group session which is focused on 11+. I know he will struggle and become demotivated when other children are answering questions he cannot. I think 1 2 1 where a teacher is breaking down concepts for him to understand will be best.
