Hi all,

My DS is in a pre-prep in Chiswick but I have been told by my friends (who have kids in North London pre-preps) that in order to get through specific schools, one must take help of tutors who prepare for those specific schools. I have absolutely no idea how to go about looking for tutors for KCS so writing here hoping someone is able to help?

@njshore Hi njshore, I am looking for a 7+ tutor for my DS. Please can you DM me the details of the said tutor. I would really appreciate your help. Thanks alot 🙏

Hi, the tutor we used is at Metal Rocks Education based in central London. They are absolute experts in 7+/8+. Holistic but rigorous. Hope they can help.

Does anyone have a good tutor they can recommend in the south west London area?
im looking for an 8+ tutor.
i seemed to have found a really good tutor based on reviews but she’s charging £170 per hour! Surely this can’t be the standard rate? I was tempted but then I took a step back and thought surely it cannot be this extortionate!

Barboursandbaking · 25/02/2024 14:35

I can happily send you our tutors details (she does not charge £170 an hour!) and she’s utterly brilliant!

SWlondonmum123 · 25/02/2024 19:26

If you are happy to share I would be most grateful! I just can’t believe that £170 is even acceptable! X

Barboursandbaking · 25/02/2024 19:33

I’ve just sent you a private message with the details. Best of luck!

@SWlondonmum123 I don't suppose you are still looking for a tutor are you? We have used an excellent one for 7+ and he also does 4+. 1:1 and in person which is important - too many are wanting to tutor online or in groups these days but I feel in person helps keep the DC engaged. Happy to share - PM if you need the details.
