My DD is doing GCSE mocks in January and needs some maths tutoring over the holidays. Has anyone used any tutors via Skype ? IF so - can anyone give any recommendations ?

THANKS

My daughter has a uni student tutor through the my tutor website.

She's also doing a maths summer school with a lovely lady. Try googling Laura does Maths (I am not Laura btw, Just a happy customer).

We have a fab local tutor lined up for September but he's not working over the summer which is why we looked elsewhere for short term tuition

I’ve been tutoring science for 15 years. I normally advertise on superprof, uktutors and tutorhunt. To be honest though most of my students come through word of mouth. If you anticipate your child needing tuition it’s worth securing a good tutor in advance- I normally get booked up 3 years in advance

I do most of my tuition on Skype at the moment and it works well. I teach GCSE and lower school, there only occasional technical problems but this is to be expected.

We used Tutorful - really good choice of tutors and sessions of the two tutors we used were very well delivered
