North London, teenage tutor over the summer

Hi, I'm a 17 year old, studying English, Maths, Further Maths and History for A levels. I would be looking to tutor in Maths or English.

There seems to be a lot of stigma regarding teenage tutors, which I of course understand. However, I am DBS checked and I have previously volunteered as a maths tutor for year 11s from low socio-economic backgrounds. I hope this illustrates that I have experience and am taking this seriously.

I'm predicted 4As for A level, and got 8As (including two 9s, one 8) and 2As for GCSEs. Happy to provide proof with GCSE certificates.

I would probably only do this over the summer as I would like to return to volunteering when term restarts, but I could be willing to work out a more long-term tutoring plan.

Price wise, I'm happy to work for 5-10 pounds an hour.
I completely understand the uneasiness surrounding teenage tutors, just thought I might as well offer, as I really enjoy tutoring.

Hi,

Whereabouts in North London are you? We have a 10 year old DD who struggles in maths and needs a confidence boost. She has a developmental lang disorder though so needs someone really patient and were not expecting miracles... it might be something to give you some extra experience? DM me if youre interested.

Thanks,

Mal
